My husband found it difficult to find his birthday cake this year! Modeled after an ammo can (commonly used for geocaching) everything on this cake was edible – including the rocks, sticks and leaves! The fondant is not marsipan but is homemade from marshmallows and powdered sugar. The cake flavor inside was my famous apple-zucchini spice cake (without any added sugar – honey is used instead) with a cream cheese frosting. This is my most requested cake flavor.
